An essential workshop for budding scientists! We will visit the Central Library to learn how to access academic journals, navigate database systems for research projects, and properly cite scientific sources.

A hands-on exploration of local geological formations. Students will learn to identify rock types, observe erosion patterns, and understand the tectonic history of our region. Please pack a sack lunch and plenty of water.
Our annual one-day build challenge! Students will work in teams to design and prototype a solution to a local environmental problem using coding and robotics kits. No prior coding experience required.

Get your feet wet! We are conducting a biological assessment of the local wetlands. Students will collect water samples, identify macroinvertebrates, and determine the health of the ecosystem based on biodiversity.
