Platform Policies

Guidelines, terms, and commitments for using Rintera.

Community Guidelines

To maintain a trusted ecosystem for families, we adhere to these shared standards. They ensure that Rintera remains a strong, integrated platform for cooperation and growth.

The Culture Code

Rintera is built on Community Autonomy. We offer the tools for you to manage your own distinct rules and programs, while connecting to a larger network for support and cost-sharing.

  • Mutual Respect: Treat members of other communities with the same courtesy you show your own group. Hostility undermines the network.
  • Zero Tolerance: No harassment, bullying, or hate speech. We actively protect the safety and well-being of our user base.
  • Accountable Identities (Avatars Welcome!): We respect your privacy and creative expression. You are welcome to use avatars, illustrations, or pseudonyms. However, these must not be used for deception, spam, or impersonating real individuals. Within private groups, community admins are responsible for verifying that their members are genuine, regardless of their display names.

Public Content Standards

Your public microsite is your community's external storefront. We provide the tools to ensure a safe environment for your community's children.

  • Family-Friendly: No profanity, nudity, or adult themes in public event listings or group descriptions.
  • Safety First: No content that promotes illegal acts, self-harm, or dangerous behavior.
  • Truth in Advertising: Do not misrepresent your educational philosophy or financial costs to attract members.

Public vs. Private: We moderate public pages strictly. Inside your private hub, you have autonomy over your culture, but illegal content remains prohibited.

Visual Identity

  • Copyright: Ensure you have the right to use any logos or photos uploaded to your community banner.
  • Privacy in Photos: Do not upload photos of children to public pages without explicit written consent from their guardians.

Recommended

  • • Clear logos or nature photography
  • • Abstract cultural or educational symbols
  • • Group photos where faces are blurred or permission is granted

Prohibited

  • • Disturbing or violent imagery
  • • Hate symbols or political extremism
  • • Identifiable photos of minors without consent

Communication Protocol

  • No Spam: Do not use the "Find Groups" feature to solicit business or spam other community leaders.
  • Conflict Resolution: If a dispute arises regarding a payment or event, try to resolve it directly with the community admin first. Attempt to resolve issues professionally before escalating.

Educational Integrity

  • Transparency: If your group has a specific religious or political affiliation, you must disclose this clearly in your public description.
  • Evidence-Based: When organizing academic events (e.g., "Science Fair"), ensure the content meets reasonable educational standards.

Sovereign Curriculum

We do not dictate what you teach. We only require you to be honest about it so families can make informed choices.

See a Violation?

If you witness content or behavior that violates our community guidelines, please report it. Our safety team reviews all reports promptly. The identity of reporters is kept strictly confidential.

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in content removal or account termination.
