Refining our logistics! We will practice setting up the group's 6-person tents for speed and stability. Simultaneously, the food committee will demonstrate how to safely operate the propane camp stoves and practice the 'bear bag' food hanging technique.
The main event! A 3-day, 2-night camping trip to Joshua Tree National Park. We will be staying at the Jumbo Rocks Campground. Activities include rock scrambling, star gazing, and desert ecology walks.

A technical workshop on utilizing solar energy in remote locations. We will cover portable panel setup, battery management systems, and calculating power needs for multi-day expeditions.
